- Vehicle Restrictions: Due to local taxi union rules, Srinagar/outside vehicles cannot roam inside Pahalgam. Only local union vehicle/Pony can be used for local sightseeing.
- Cab Timings & Duty: Cabs are available until 6:00 PM with a maximum duty of 10 hrs. Discuss with Passprt team for any exception.
- Weather and Clothing:
- Summer (May to August): Light woolens and cotton clothes.
- Winter (November to February): Heavy woolens and thermal wear.
- Monsoon (July to September): Waterproof jackets and umbrellas.
- Carry sufficient cash as ATMs might not be available in remote areas or might run out of cash.
